I’m Victoria, a South Louisiana native, who has had art embedded in her heart & soul since birth. At a very young age, my dad gave me my first Sony Cyber-shot camera and from that moment on, I found creativity EVERYWHERE! From repainting my bedroom, the property fence and even my childhood clubhouse...I captured it ALL meticulously like it was my full time job at age 10. Nothing was off limits from a creative touch & I documentation to prove it!
But these roots don't come from nowhere...I have an artist mother who went to school for jewelry and continued on to be a watchmaker; a Mr. Electric, Eagle Scout father who knows everything about everything; and a nanny who is an interior designer. So I consider myself blessed to be cut from such a unique cloth!
In my school days, there was 100% chance you could find me doodling and the other times, I was either in: photography, yearbook, newspaper or the Art Guild. My second love was played on the soccer field after school. And, that was basically my world in a youth-nutshell.
*Fun Fact: My favorite smell in the whole world is the burning sugar cane!
And as per usual the world turns. Next was college, getting married, and becoming a mom to three beautiful girls. Life later took me from Louisiana to Florida, but no mater the location, creativity has always managed to remain a constant. Even when the projects weren’t perfect or polished, my passion never disappeared.
In most recent years, I’ve poured my heart into Crux, a small ministry where I create Spirit-led, personalized collages for people who inspire me. I’m also the illustrator of “God Is My Father,” a children’s book that reflects my love for faith, storytelling, and meaningful visual design. These current projects have reminded me why I create — to connect, to uplift, and to reflect the beauty I see in the world.
Now, after years of crafting in the margins of busy days and growing seasons, I’m stepping back into design with intention and excitement...ready to build a career around the thing that’s
always been part of who I am, ART.
